Describtive

On January 30, 2017 today in the class Teacher checked the list of name and talk about the lesson yesterday because someone didn’t came to study on Sunday so gave Sittichai told to friends about the story that we learned yesterday and Kittikarn told to friends about what did we do yesterday?

After that teacher gave us made a group of circle 5 people; discussed about symbols of story The Secret for 10 minutes and sent someone to present in front of the class

The eggs are symbol of “Secret” that became bigger every day the bigger of the secret that more stress so she can’t hold it anymore so she let it go as you can see from the story that she threw the chicken in the well.

The well is a symbol of the “loneliness”, the more she went down in the well is the more she stay far from the society.

The photo album is a symbol of the “good memory” that she was, when she was a child.

Kylie’s cutting of the photo is a symbol of “exclude from the adult’s word” she went to the well every day with her album because Philip and her mother left her alone.

Next, we are going to learn about Description

So in our group describe each animals; what its look like? , I identify what type of animals is it and describe appearance and diet so we have one minutes each picture.

Dragonfly

It’s look like a helicopter, two wings. Food for dragonfly is a glass and dwell.Dragonflies are usually found around water such as lakes, ponds, streams and wetlands.

Ant

It has three sections; the head, the thorax and the abdomen. Food for them; sugar and meat. They are usually yellow, brown, red or black. the size from 2-25 millimeters.

Komodo

Its look like a crocodile, big size and weight around 70-150 kg., rough skin and tongue like snake.

So in hand out read the text 1: Komodo dragon and after that drew the diagram about the text 

the picture that i made it in the Microsoft Word and capture picture. 

Narrative (Continue)

On  January 29, 2017 Today was a makeup class and a few people came to study because on 13^th February 2017 teacher doesn’t here.  

Today we were talk about the text last week and; last week teacher gave us to read before study and today talk among your read last week.

We started at part one of the Secret the story tells you about…

Kylie, the girl that move to live with my mother and Philip who is a step father in the new house and she found an egg and no one knew that she just have a secret.

At the dinner kylie she was notice more detail about her other and Philip after dinner she came back in the new house it was a lot of boxes and crates inside and she went to the her new room, she thought about the egg.

Next day inside the house her mother and Philip laughed or shouted and reminded her that her father didn’t live with them. Sometimes in the afternoon she found a second egg. Each day she saw another egg abs the secret became bigger every day.

The holiday’s stretched on. Philip and her mother left her alone, she was happy.

Philip had shown Kylie about the round zinc cover of the bore well. She was forbidden to lift and lid, she sat out the grapevine with her album so in her album that wasn’t one of her father because her father was a photographer that took photo of Kylie and mother

And the part two

    Two weekends passed, ten eggs came to be secreted. Kylie watches the hen sitting, take the lid off the well. She started to go down the well with her photo album every day, watched Philip and her mother wonders why her father is not with them and Philip discovers her in the well and hits her, Kylie throws the chicks down to the well and she hits the hen and throw it down to the well too. She chooses one special photo which makes her feel good. Kylie cuts off her head from the special photo and throws it away.

Made a group circle 5 people and discussed about three people in the story

I my mind..

I feel sorry for Kylie because she was left alone and felt repress.

I dislike for Kylie’s mother because she didn’t pay attention with her daughter but she time too much with Philip.

And I dislike Philip too because he abuses Kylie and left her alone.

And the last one discussed in our group 3 people that which you think are most important.

So in my class choses neglect, children’s rights and problems associated with contemporary family life.

The class today it was a happy all the time because a few people that came and learned smoothed. In the class I think nothing it was easy for me but it was difficult for me was a story that sometime I can’t to understand.

Narrative

On January 23, 2017 I came to class before 8:30 am. The first teacher checked the list of name and started to learn.

We started at the recount and learn continuous last week so teacher gave us to do it before and today gave us a correct answer.

So we started exercise 3 read the text and answer the questions

●An Excursion to the Botanic Gardens

I think it was a very easy because if you can understand the text certainly you can answer the questions and you can guess the text is true or false.

Exercise 4 read the text and answer the questions too.

The next we read about factual recount: News report

When we read it already I can identify pattern of the recount so write that one it was orientation or events and I can guess what it is action verbs or linking words and the others and then answer the questions.

And the last one: Police report

So teacher gave us made a group and read the paragraph and report in front of the class what is about the text.

Today we learned about Narrative and started at the Secrets by Tim Winton so teacher gave us choose the limit of the title in the circle so put a cross on line in the circle, at an appropriate point, to show how you felt as a child. The scale from 0 (not at all) -6(very much) and connect each other. Compare with your partner and talk about it. Is there anyone near to you with a similar pattern? Talk about similarities or differences in your childhood memories but time over and we must stop it and teacher gave us to read the next page and see you on the Sunday because it is a make-up class.

Today I think it was a very easy for me is everything and nothing to difficult. I felt sleep on the class may be o sat at the back room and didn’t see all anything.

Recount

On Monday January 16, 2017. The second week for this subject when I came to the class I saw a window opened I’m so hot because air conditioner was broken for hours but we were still sit in the class because wait it. When teacher came the first checked the list of name and study chapter 1: Recount

Teacher gave us a handout and explained about recount what is it? And pattern about how to write recount.

After that to do exercise read the text answer the questions but today we has accident about air conditioner so electrician turn off switch and effect to learn it can’t to learn continuous. Teacher gave homework for us so to do all exercise in handout it is homework.

Today something I thought it was easy for me … I can identify what is orientation or events or reorientation included when / where / who / what / action verbs / linking words / and specific participants? And something that difficult for me.. How to write recount? Because I didn’t know how I started it. And today the weather was a very hot because air conditioner was broken it made me to be out of his mind.

On New Year I was a spent time with my family and made a merit at the temple in new day. I felt happy when I came back to home.

The highlight of the New Year was a count down on the beach with my friends so we booked the room in the hotel near the beach and we bought food for this night. It time near New Year I felt exited because it the first time on the beach but it less more people. In around the beach be filled with light, sound audio, and the others.

After finished we were relaxed on the bed with friends because we were tried all day. In the morning we went to home.   

The First Week :Introduce Course

            On 9^th January 2017, after New Year I come back to the university and the first class is A Discourse Approach in Reading, So the first we were talking about this course.

Teacher, explained course outline and didn’t said about the rule because last term we were talk it already.

           

            Discourse Approach in Reading, we must to know or learn about How to analyze, What kind of the text did you read? And know concept of how continuous texts.

            Discourse Approach in Reading, it can be classified in two categories are spoken or written text.

            The next teacher gave us talk with my friend about my vocation or New Year. After talk with my friend I gotten handout for exercise before study.

So in handout that we have messages read and match with the words. And complete the sentence of each paragraph and the last one rewrite the sentence.

Vocabulary

To address → to give attention to or deal with a    matter or problem.

Distinction → Different between to similar things.

Polygamy → The fact or custom of being married to more than one person at the same time.

Pharmacological → Relating to treatment that uses drugs

Occur → Something that happen.

Notions → Idea.

Mass media → those channels of communication(TV,radio)
